Privacy
Short version: your study data exists to teach you, it is readable only by you, and sponsors never receive it.
What we store
An account email for sign-in. Onboarding details you provide: display name, school, graduation year, exam date, weekly study hours, study intensity, and your strongest/weakest species. Study activity: answers, correctness, confidence, time per question, flags, your notes, card reviews, sessions, streaks, and per-topic mastery.
Each field drives something visible: exam date and hours drive planning, species answers seed early selection, and the activity data drives mastery, readiness, and your notebook. There are no hidden fields collected for later use.
Who can see it
You. Access rules are enforced in the database per row, so your attempts, notes, sessions, mastery, and streaks are readable only by your own account.
Two features share anything, and both are opt-in. Anonymous class benchmarks show medians across students who explicitly joined, never individual rows. Study groups show co-members an effort board — display name, question count, accuracy, streak — for people who chose to join that group with its code. You can leave either at any time.
Sponsorship and advertising
Sponsors receive aggregate reach numbers only. They never receive your email, your performance, your notes, or anything that identifies you, and they get no influence over content. Details on the funding page.
Processors
Hosting, database, and authentication run on managed infrastructure that stores your data on our behalf. The AI tutor sends the question text and your prompt to a model provider to generate an explanation; it is not given your identity.
Your control
You can edit your profile at any time, leave groups, and turn benchmark sharing off. To export or permanently delete your account and all associated study data, contact us from your account email and the deletion is carried out for the account and its rows.
Children
The platform is built for veterinary students and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes in a way that affects what we collect or share, the change will be described here before it takes effect.
