Respiratory — Feline

High-yield respiratory presentations in feline cases, drilled with NAVLE-style vignettes.

Feline asthma is an eosinophilic inflammatory airway disease; glucocorticoids control the underlying inflammation while bronchodilators are adjunctive rescue therapy, not sole treatment. Milky effusion with fluid triglycerides higher than serum defines chyle. Underlying causes to investigate include cardiomyopathy, cranial mediastinal masses, and idiopathic disease.
